The Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the International Cultural Exchange College of Tongji University recently signed an intent of cooperation to promote TCM among international students.
The Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an important institution for the preservation, research and dissemination of TCM culture. It offers visitors unique insights into the millennia-old practice of TCM and its exhibitions allow people to better understand Chinese medical achievements.
In his speech at the signing ceremony, the museum director Li Gan encouraged international students to understand TCM and become promoters of the international dissemination of TCM culture.

A Yemeni student from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine spoke about her reasons for coming to China and choosing to study TCM.
A Pakistani student from Tongji University then shared his experiences regarding Chinese herbal medicines and TCM therapy in the TCM Culture Experience Park for International Students at Tongji University.
The Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Tongji University Foreign Students Traditional TCM Culture Experience and Practice Base was also unveiled at the event.
The two sides will next collaborate to build a platform for international students to experience the charm of TCM.
