Putuo Hospital,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1957. It is a Level III Class B general hospital integrating medical services, research, and education. Currently, the hospital has four national key specialties, including TCM Clinical Oncology supported by the National Health Commission, Clinical Geriatrics endorsed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and TCM General Medicine and Integrative Medicine supported by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Additionally, five key specialties are endorsed by the Shanghai Municipal Government, including Nephrology, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, General Surgery, and the Cardiovascular Department.
