Founded on September 5, 2005, the Center is a level-3 national TCM laboratory. With an area of 346 square meters, the Center has 331 medical instruments, including 18 devices that are worth more than 100, 000 RMB, such as ICP-MS and HPLC-MS.
Our research priorities
The Center seeks to focus on multidisciplinary study on Chinese medicine from the perspectives of metabonomics and biopharmaceutics.
Our achievements
l14 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation programs
lGut flora and precocious pubertyin girls by Prof. Jia Wei and Zhang Yongyi (senior researcher). The findings of this study were published in the journal Molecular and Cellular Proteomics and attracted extensive attention from both home and abroad.
Our experts
Prof. Jia Wei, Director of the Center, Research focus: Metabonomics Study of Chinese Medicine. He has chaired many projects of the National Basic Research Program of China (aka 973 Program). Over the recent years, his team has published scientific papers in SCI included journals including Nature.
Wei Hai, associate senior researcher, Deputy Director of the Center, Research focus: Development of orally administered medicine and dosage form, in vivo and in vitro correlation and evaluation method. He has academic cooperation with the University of Alberta, Canada and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He and his collaborative partners have published SCI included scientific papers.
