The Center for the Study of Clinical Drug Trial

Time:2015-01-09Hits:679

Founded in May 2005, the Center is mainly focused on model-based quantitative assessment of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. As one of the major institutions in pharmacometrics study, the Center is affiliated to the Professional Board of Pharmacometrics, Chinese Pharmacological Society.

Led by Director Prof. Zheng Qingshan and consultant Prof. Sun Rui-yuan, the Center has 12 staff members. We have developed extensive collaborative studies on quantitative research design, mathematical modeling and simulation.

Our staffs have published more than 100 academic paper and authored A New Perspective of Mathematical Pharmacology. At present, the Center has 4 Master degree students and 4 doctorate students.

Our research orientations

lModel-based quantitative assessment of pharmacodynamics

lStudy of pharmacokinetic drug interactions

lStudies of population pharmacokinetics, population pharmacodynamics and physiological pharmacodynamics
