The TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Working Conference held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the university

On April 28, at the very special moment of the 30 days countdown of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the university, the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) working conference was held in the conference hall of the Library, celebrating the 60thanniversary of the establishment of the university. The conference was hostedby the Chief of the Administration Board of the university, Zhang Zhiqiang.

During the conference, President of the university Xu Jianguang delivered a welcoming speech and akeynote speech, and reviewed the achievements that have been made concerning the inheritance and promotion of TCM, and expressed his gratitude to the renowned senior TCM doctors. Xu awarded certificates of honor to the renowned senior TCM specialist Zhu Nansun for her dedication to the development of TCM for 75 years, commending her for her commitment to the promotion and inheritance of TCM .

Shuguang Hospital donatedthe group photo which was taken when establishing the Siming hospital, and Longhua Hospital donated the portrait of the renowned TCM doctor Shi Xiaoshan as the presents to the 60th anniversary. Former president of the university, also the renowned TCM specialist, Professor Shi Qi delivered the speech on the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the university.

Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, Director ofShanghai TCM Development Office Zheng Jing addressed to congratulate the university on its 60th anniversary, and expressed her appreciationto university for its contribution to the TCM development.

The calligraphy work of Professor Wang Qingqi from School of TCM basics, also the renowned senior TCM specialist,was also exhibited. Around 1800 volumes of 60 types of calligraphy work were displayed. The senior TCM specialists have left their remarks and best wishes on the margins of the calligraphy work as the very precious memories.
